Local Filmmaker Night: Pasta Mafia

The Acme welcomes New Hope filmmaker Jason Caridi, for the first in our new series of Local Filmmaker Evenings.

Jason Caridi is a New Jersey-raised and New Hope-based new-filmmaker, videographer, musician, and comedian. His dramatic and comedic works under The Black Plastic Bag Productions deal with themes such as psychological dialectics, hesitancy, synchronicity, and slip-and-falls.

Pasta Mafia: An Italian-American Voyage in Three Acts is a spoof comedy in the strain of Airplane!, Hot Shots!, and Mafia! that speaks to the New Jersey Italian-American culture we all claim to know and love. Mafioso Tony and his little brother Tony get caught in a cascatelli of murder, deception, and pasta as they try endlessly to set things straight. Run time 55 minutes.

Suggested donation $6. All proceeds to benefit the 2024 ACME’s Annual Appeal.
