Meet our panel:

Kendra Lee Rex is a culinary producer, registered nutritionist, and Classical Pilates teacher based in the Delaware River Valley. She is the owner of The Rex Studio, a space for holistic and functional health in Lambertville, where she teaches Classical Pilates, runs wellness retreats, and teaches cooking classes. She is an ambassador for our area's local food scene and is a co-host on WDVR's popular talk show, Let's Talk, and a contributor to River Towns Magazine. Kendra is an active member of the esteemed philanthropic organization Les Dames d'Escoffier International and is editor of their bi-monthly magazine, the feast. Early in her career, she managed and produced shows and events for the Food Network, Cooking Channel, Rocco DiSpirito, and Ian Knaur's Farm Cooking School.

Nina S. White is the founder and co-director of Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse.  Along with her husband, cheese maker Jonathan White, Bobolink has been a leader in joining regenerative farming with high-quality culinary endeavors.  Nina and Jonathan firmly believe that delicious foods created and consumed within communities can substantially improve all aspects of social, economic, and environmental concerns. The Tasting will feature samples of her cheeses and breads.

Charles Rosen is the founder and CEO of Ironbound Hard Cider and New Ark Farms (collectively known as Ironbound Farm), a Newark-based social enterprise focused on workforce development and regenerative agriculture. “Ironbound is a scrupulously organic, self-sufficient, biodiverse ecosystem that demonstrates how the world can heal itself,” Rosen says, “and recapture the joy of nature. The Tasting will feature samples of various flavors of Ironbound Cider.

Ian Knauer  was a food editor for Gourmet Magazine for 9 years, where, working in the world-renowned test kitchens, he developed and perfected recipes for the magazine and book divisions and co-hosted the magazines two award-winning television shows - Diary of a Foodie (which won two James Beard Awards) and Adventures with Ruth (nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award). His first cookbook, The Farm - Rustic Recipes for a Year of Incredible Food, was released in April 2012 by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Ian opened the Farm Cooking school with former Gourmet colleague Shelley Wiseman. He co-owns Roots to River Farm with his wife, farmer Malaika Spencer and their growing family. He is also working alongside chef Cal Peternell (formerly of Chez Panisse) at Finnbar in Frenchtown, NJ.  Ian is a contributing writer for The Wall Street Journal, Bon Appetit, among many other publications.
