Flee tells the story of Amin Nawabi as he grapples with a painful secret he has kept hidden for 20 years, one that threatens to derail the life he has built for himself and his soon to be husband. Recounted mostly through animation to director Jonas Poher Rasmussen, he tells for the first time the story of his extraordinary journey as a child refugee from Afghanistan. Flee could make history this year as the first movie to be nominated in the animated, documentary and international feature categories at the Academy Awards and has received critical acclaim, with Sundance juror Kim Longinotto calling it "an instant classic" at the festival's awards ceremony. Flee is without question, one of this year’s best documentaries. Rated PG 13, 1 hour 29 minutes. Watch Trailer
