COMING TO ACME THIS FALL: FIRST-RUN FILMS & LIVE THEATER!
This fall, ACME plans to present first-run indie cinema — along with Opera, Ballet, and Theater — telecast live from world-renowned theaters. We will still feature film and discussion with special guest Directors and social change leaders, but the majority of our programming will be shown when it’s released in other theaters (rather than when it’s released to DVD).
Here are some examples of the kind of programs you can expect:

HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?
We will be joining the Emerging Cinemas Network, the largest all-digital theater network in the United States. Emerging Cinemas makes art films, documentaries, foreign language films, independent cinema, and cultural programming available at affordable rates to arts institutions, media arts centers, and independent art house theaters using digital technology — enabling them to cost-effectively exhibit excellent indie programming year round.
THANKS TO THE CITY!
This programming enhancement was made possible by our securing a three year lease on the ACME building from The City of Lambertville, which will enable us to make capital improvements on the space, pending City Council approval, like bringing in this first-run film equipment, more comfortable seating, and signage.
Special thanks to Mayor DelVecchio and The City of Lambertville for their continued support of this program, and for enabling us to grow the program for the past three years by generously granting our organization use of the ACME space, nearly every weekend!
STAY TUNED FOR OUR NEW MEMBERSHIP PLAN:
Discounts on tickets and access to member-only ACME events for you!
THANK YOU, our patrons, volunteers and Board members for your continued support of this program! See you at the movies!
