An Evening on “The Art of Filmmaking” with Ted Tally, Oscar-Award Winning Screenwriter and Larry McConkey, Cinematographer, Plus Reception at Caffe Galleria, Lambertville House5:00 pm
Ted Tally won the Academy Award for Best Screenplay for Silence of the Lambs and wrote The Red Dragon, and All the Pretty Horses, as well as serving as creative consultant on Shrek 2, Shrek the Third, and Madagascar.
Larry McConkey is a steadycam operator and cinematographer. His credits include Hugo, Silence of the Lambs, Goodfellas, Kill Bill, The Sopranos and more.
Ted Tally and Larry McConkey will show select scenes from the award-winning films they have worked on and discuss the creative approaches that made these films so unforgettable. Time will be reserved for audience questions. Event will be followed by a reception at Caffe Galleria with complimentary appetizers and cash bar. Oscars will be shown in bar after reception. Please contact Caffe Galleria for dinner reservations, sold separately.
