About ACME

The ACME Screening Room is a non-profit weekly independent and documentary film series founded by Friends of Lambertville Library in 2008 in partnership with the Lambertville Free Public Library and the City of Lambertville in the City’s “Justice Center,” formerly the ACME Supermarket. The series regularly features guest speakers (authors, directors, activists), post-film discussion programs and/or exhibitions held in conjunction with a film. Our programs bring the world of film to life for our audience members and create a space to thoughtfully reflect on films by artists at all levels: from local filmmakers to nationally recognized professionals. Films are screened using a state-of-the-art digital projection and a 5.1 surround sound system, paid for and provided by the City of Lambertville. All donations to Friends of Lambertville Library for the ACME program are tax-deductible.

TICKETS

Tickets are available for purchase online (convenience fee applies) and at the door (unless they sell out in advance online). All proceeds go to fund Friends of Lambertville Library’s ACME film series.

Prices are as follows:

• $6. Movie Tickets ($8. Non-Member Price)
• $10. Film & Discussion Tickets ($15. Non-Member Price)
• $16. Opera* Tickets ($20. Non-Member Price)
• $12. Ballet* ($15. Non-Member Price)

* Recorded Arts & Cultural programs

We will also continue to offer free/suggested donation programs where funding permits.

PARKING

Free parking can be found south of ACME Screening Room on Union St and on our cross streets, Swan and Ferry. The parking lot next to ACME is a metered lot. Meters go until 9 pm. Please pay your meter to avoid getting a ticket.

ACCESSIBILITY

ACME Screening Room is wheelchair accessible. For the deaf and hearing impaired, we can turn on subtitles (on films that provide them) provided you ask prior to the film’s start. A large print version of our schedule is posted in ACME Screening Room’s window at 25 S. Union Street.
